Reciprocal Borrowing

UNILINC, formerly CLANN, is a network of libraries comprising university, school, and special libraries. In 1982, the then CLANN libraries agreed that the registered users of any one member library could borrow from the other libraries in a scheme called the Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme. This has been a significant initiative for the libraries concerned and the scheme is unique in Australia. Users of the Scheme are fortunate indeed that their libraries have increased access opportunities in this way. These arrangements along with interlibrary lending are supported by the UNILINC Shared System online catalogue.

Conditions for participation in the Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme may be found here along with the required indemnity form.

Details of the participating libraries are listed here.

A form for the completion of details for a library joining the UNILINC Member Reciprocal Borrowing Scheme may be found here.
